I recently photographed an engagement session for Christina and Mike. This soon-to-be wedded couple will be getting married next year in the spring and after taking these photos and getting to know them I'm even more excited to shoot their wedding at Indian Pond Country Club.
It was a case of "when opposites attract" that brought Christina and Mike together. They went to high school together but were a grade apart. Christina enjoyed school and getting involved in clubs and sports. Mike? Not so much. But differences didn't keep them apart. After being together for 10 years Mike took Christina on a surprise trip to NYC where he sneakily had a nearby tourist take a photo of them as he got down on one knee. They ended the night with two of their favorite things, sushi and an improv show.
But let's talk more about Christina and Mike's engagement session! These two were naturals in front of the camera. Going for a romantic Boston date look we found a beautiful spot along MIT's sailing pavilion on the Charles River and we lucked out with beautiful weather. I had such a hard time choosing the photos!
